Six Sentence Sunday - 2/27/11

Still from Playing For Keeps....

Unspoken words of love choked him. But she wasn't ready to hear it. Samantha's issues were deeper than reporter and athlete. He turned her palms up and ran his forefinger along the lines wishing he could read them and know what the future held. Ryan waited patiently, watching her mind at work, going through each angle, then discarding it, and moving on to the next. Her cell's ring-tone filled the air ending what little hope he had of her trusting him with the dark secret she hid from the world.
