Help me decide! Chair or Chaise?

The chaise lounge I wanted did not fit into my office and I had to send it back. It was way, way too big. WAY BIG.

So I've narrowed it down to 2 choices. What do you think? If you've read Love By Design which one would interior designer, Victoria Bryce, choose?

    Chair - harder to fall asleep in ;) but still cozy enough to relax and write or curl up with a good book. Both look nice!

    I like the chair for both looks and comfort. On the other hand, you've been dreaming of the chaise lounge...it certainly has an elegant look. But I still vote for the chair.
