This is a picture I took of one of the towers during my 8th grade trip to NYC back in 1977.

Please take a moment to say a prayer for those taken from us on September 11, 2001.

    The weather today, the blue, cloudless sky, the light, the warmth with a tiny bit of autumn nip, remind me EXACTLY of that morning.

    It's so important to remember. At my son's soccer game on 9/11 we had a moment of silence. When we cleaned out my mother-in-laws house a while back we came upon a poster of the NY skyline with the twin towers lit up. We just couldn't throw it away.
