We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures. ~Thornton Wilder

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It's day that people of all faiths can share in and for that I am most thankful.

Here is poem I sketched out...

Count your blessings
the saying goes
how many can one have
let count the ways
as Browning would say
my family and
friends are just for starters
my health and
a job that pays the bills
for my creative well
For the world God gave us
even with all that is wrong
it is up to the human race
to find His grace
this Thanksgiving Day

Of course I need to end my post with a funny Thanksgiving Day quote....

Thanksgiving, man! Not a good day to be my pants.
Kevin James
