It's hard to believe that the Queen of Comedy had some very deep quotes (see above) and these...
Politics should be the part-time profession of every citizen who would protect the rights and privileges of free people and who would preserve what is good and fruitful in our national heritage. - Lucille Ball
I think knowing what you cannot do is more important than knowing what you can do. - Lucille Ball
I would rather regret the things that I have done than the things that I have not. - Lucille Ball
Here are two fun ones...
The secret of staying young is to live honestly, eat slowly, and lie about your age. - Lucille Ball
A man who correctly guesses a woman's age may be smart, but he's not very bright. - Lucille Ball
Side note 1: I selected Angelology by Danille Trussoni from the delivery to be read first. So far it's great - had to stop myself at 125 pages so I can savor it. I find if I rush through and read it all in one or two days I get sad when the story is over.
Side Note 2: I've just noticed that I seem to be drawn to the photos of actress smoking - it looks so glamourous but of course it reality it is not...

Great quote. She seems like a very intelligent woman.
ReplyDeleteI'm not used to seeing Lucille Ball in such a seductive photo. She's one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteI know! Couldn't believe it myself so I had to use that picture.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and one of the most talented physical comedians. When I think of Lucille Ball, two things come to mind "vitameatavegamin" and her talented Cuban husband Ricky Ricardo.
