More from Love By Design. Russ dancing in a couple of shows for the Thunder Down Under Male Revue as a favor for a friend who has lined up a bunch of groupies for after the show. Russ declines because of the early call time for his co-hosting job on Design Intervention and his friend scoffs and tells him he's whipped and Russ replies.....


“I’m so single, I make George Clooney look like a married man.” In actuality he might as well be a monk, contrary to what the Australian tabloids wrote about him, but his fellow Aussie didn’t need to know that or that Russ was falling for a pixie in high heels. “I’m sure you’ll find a way to satisfy them all.”
“I’m just one man, Rowland.” Brady snapped a towel at Russ’ knees. “Just one man,” he repeated before heading into the dressing room to change for the finale.

Six Sentence Sunday - 5/22/11

Another one from Love By Design. Co-host Russ has just arrived on set of Design Intervention startling Victoria and she spills coffee on her shirt. (FYI - in the past he'd been late to meetings)


The morning sun bounced off his tousled hair, picking up every highlight. His thumbs were hooked into the belt loops of his tight jeans, a grey t-shirt clung to his chest and didn't even try to pretend he wasn't staring at her breasts.
She shifted her gaze down. The cream silk was soaked through like a spring break wet t-shirt contest.
His stance stayed perfectly relaxed like he practiced it in front of a mirror, but his stare lethal as his gaze met hers. She knew she was supposed to say something and blurted the first thing that came to her mind. “You’re early.”
“I would say I arrived just in time.”

The Art of Verbal Seduction - Act 1 - 5/20/11

I love Shakespeare so when Daedalus Books offered Shakespeare and the Art of Verbal Seduction for a mere 3.98 - I ordered it immediately - then it sat on the shelf - until today when bored out of mind from being on medical leave for 4 weeks I strarted to flip thru it.

I thought I'd share some of my favorites as I go through the book hence the Act 1 - clever right? LOL

Later that night, Victoria lay in bed wide-awake. Somehow his beach scent drifted upstairs or perhaps she was imagining it. She couldn’t believe she almost kissed him. What was she thinking? Sex - no, dirty sex -dirty sex that cleanses a woman of all that ails her. And Russ was just the man for the job.

Six Sentence Sunday - 5/08/11 - I'm back

Okay I'm back - still not at full strength but here I am.

More from Love By Design. Here Victoria is at a get to know you lunch with her agent Ava and Russ (the temporary co-host replacement) Here, at their request he is giving them the lowdown on Aussie slang for dirty words.


"Okay, I've got one more - Australian kiss."
Victoria's eyebrows drew together in concentration, but she couldn't think beyond what it would be like to kiss him, Australian or otherwise.
"Come on think about it."
"Got me," said Ava.
"Me, too," admitted Victoria.
Russ' smile turned lethal. "It's a French kiss - down under."
